    3. I am leaving vibrant teams in the field & in Geneva. They were my daily source of energy and inspiration over the past 6 years. They will continue to help those communities who need us most and remind warring sides that conflicts without limits are conflits without end.

    2. So much more still needs to be done for people caught up in wars. States supporting parties to the conflicts raging in the region should & must do more to ensure their partners respect the rules of war. There should be no support without compliance with Intl humanitarian law.

    Illicit trade in small arms and light weapons is a big problem responsible of massive human suffering across the globe. We ask for a robust implementation of the programme of action to prevent, combat and eradicate this illicit trade.

    Small arms and light weapons are too easy to obtain. Poorly regulated arms flows lead to displacement, sexual and gender based violence in conflicts. Let's work collectively to strenghen the Programme of Action on these weapons.
