    Today I was with one of the first women to drive legally in Jeddah. “Oh look,” she said as she drove along the highway. “My driver is worried - he’s following behind us!”

    Good to be back in Ankara where I lived 27 years ago. Bad to be filmed by police doing my job. This used to happen in mainly Kurdish southeast. Now it happens in Turkey’s capital.
