    I am gravely concerned by the new military offensive in southwest Syria and its dramatic impact on civilians. I reiterate my appeal for the suspension of hostilities and the resumption of negotiations.

    On Monday I’ll be with in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh on a mission of solidarity with Rohingya refugees and the communities supporting them. The compassion & generosity of the Bangladeshi people shows the best of humanity and saved many thousands of lives.
