    Attempts by a blood-lusting, ravenous, murderous lot to reintroduce mass slaughter of species to Kenya, co-opting the 'native' through a dumbly designed questionnaire where answers point to one destination; USAID -coined, global hunting lobby endorsed 'Consumptive Use'. Hell No.

    Terms like “crisis” invoke fear and panic and responses that are desperate but appealing to the public. It’s no way to address migration or displacement which is going to be with us for the long haul .

    There is no migration/refugee crisis in Europe. Very low arrival and "secondary movement" figures are the opportunity for EU states to focus together on real issues like asylum reform, safe pathways and more+better aid to refugee hosting+transit countries.

    Failure to attend to the needs of refugee youth is a time bomb; recourse to anti-social behavior is in large measure the product of lack of opportunities to engage in productive activity.

    Our Govt provides refugee children rights similar to those enjoyed by Ugandan children; exposure to conflict & trauma affects the wellbeing of young children, their ability to learn & play, sense of security & trust, & hopes for the future:

    Honored to meet and Minister of Education & Sports, a champion for children's rights. Refugee children are integrated into Uganda's national curriculum.; many go on to become professionals of every description back home & elsewhere around the world.

    On violence in settlement: "It is telling that a minor incident should trigger a tragedy of such magnitude; creating an extremely volatile situation for refugees who are mostly women and children without the protection of their menfolk." UNHCR Representative in Uganda

    We are strongly condemning acts of violence that led to the deaths of four refugees in Rhino Camp (Uganda) this week, and commending Government for swift action to contain the situation. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
