    So many have worked hard to change this, on all counts. My valedictory was the 1st speech with Auslan interpreters in a federal parliamentary chamber & that was so, so long ago. It should be standard by now. Same with quality captions/teletext

    Oh, the irony! Im profoundly deaf, sitting in a hotel room in Canberra, but I can't follow the panel on disability because the hotel's TV doesn't have teletext. (Kind of like our Houses of Parliament).
