  13. We are campaigning for the Government to roll out the first 1000 days bill nationally. The bill has passed both houses and is close to becoming law, but we need one final push to make it a reality for Filipino children.

  16. With the help of health workers, Nadine got access to special food. More importantly, Karen learned how to cook more nutritious food for her cheaply. Nadine is now a healthy little girl full of energy. (2/2)

  17. I met Karen and her children in their home in the slums of Manila. Her 2y old daughter, Nadine, was severely malnourished. Karen told me that she was always tired and had lost her spark. (1/2)

  21. As we launch this year's Index, I am in the which has dropped 8 places since last year due to an increase in malnutrition. 1 in 3 children under 5 here are stunted, and we need to turn things around to give Filipino children the best start in life.
