    I submitted a hoax manuscript to a predatory journal. The finding? Politicians from the right wipe their ass with their left hand (and vice versa) - big breakthrough! Manuscript accepted w/o review. I then haggled the OA fee down to $0 - so here it is ->

    Despite the conclusion they did in fact find increased complications with PBD: "the risk to develop the surgical site infections were doubled in the Stented Group (18.1%) (OR=2.1, 95% CI=1.5–2.8)."

    This paper misses the point: the purpose of avoiding pre-op biliary drainage is to avoid ERCP & stent related complications: pancreatitis, bleeding, perforation, recurrent cholangitis, inoperability & death! A fast-track approach in avoids all this.

    Awful scene on the orange line. A woman’s leg got stuck in the gap between the train and the platform. It was twisted and bloody. Skin came off. She’s in agony and weeping. Just as upsetting she begged no one call an ambulance. “It’s $3000,” she wailed. “I can’t afford that.”
