A person's dignity does not depend on them being a citizen, a migrant, or a refugee. Saving the life of someone fleeing war and poverty is an act of humanity. #WithRefugees @M_RSection

Actually, every brown, white, or green person crossing the border -ILLEGALLY- IS a criminal.
-
Seeking asylum at a border crossing is not illegal, but they still are splitting families.
-
Absolutely false!

Why must we further inflame every argument by using hot words and name calling? This is not about racism (i.e. "everyone brown"). The system is broken and we need better solutions. Please stop lessening very real problems by creating more that aren't there.
-
I used the words "every brown" to highlight this regime's racism. And regime is exactly what I will call
@realDonaldTrump 's administration until he returns to the US Constitution and upholds the values and rights of Washington, Jefferson, and Madison's United States of America. - 1 more reply

Stop speaking for us brown people. Jeezus you nuts still don’t realize how fuckin’ offensive that is. True white supremacy is thinking brown people are so far below you that they need your help.
-
It's offensive that you separate yourself based on race, like many fascists. My family is feeling the brunt of this racist regime. I'll speak for my family regardless of my skin color.

I fail to see what race has to do with this issue If you are seeking asylum, go to a US border station and declare that. If you do this, you wont be separated from your family while your asylum request is processed. Dont try to sneak in and then when you get caught cry for asylum

Oh and FYI, the kids they are moving from one group to another state... well the UN considers it genocidepic.twitter.com/DW1pJJj8eb

... crossing the border ILLEGALLY
-
seeking asylum is not illegal.
-
Did I say anything remotely related to "seeking asylum is illegal"?
-
You are conflating crossing the border with being illegal. The people whose families are being ripped apart by this monstrous policy are seeking asylum. You are supporting an act of state sponsored terrorism and claiming it's justified.
-
No, that isn't what's happening. When you cross the border illegally, you are an illegal immigrant. This isn't a hard concept. If you are truly seeking asylum, go to a border station, dont try to sneak in. If you declare asylum at a border station, no separation of family.
-
but people seeking asylum at the checkpoints are being separated and arrested unjustly. This is not a hard concept.

It’s completely legal to enter the USA and request asylum. Taking children away from the parents for doing that is never ok.
