    Just left the Port Isabel ICE Detention Center. Met with about 30 mothers who were separated from their children. All were crying or had tears in their eyes. Most don’t know where their kids are. I talk about my meeting with them in the video below.

    I was separated from my parents and entire family on the day I was born and sent to live with strangers, and I never want to hear again that it didn't traumatize me or that I had a "bad experience" or that I need to "shut up and be grateful." 🌼

    Just left Port Isabel detention center. Spoke to 60+ women. Many had babies taken directly from their arms. They’ve requested information about their kids, but have heard NOTHING in return. They were lied to, deceived, & don’t know where their babies are
