.  your quip that I “grow a pair” is the kind of language that does harm to people of all genders. It suggests women are inherently weak b/c of their anatomy. Stereotyping is irresponsible, reckless, & doesn’t advance equality.

Our gov't will always stand up for gender equality & for women’s right to choose. We will fight to ensure women have a seat at the table, in business, in politics, & in fields like STEM. Because when we invest in women, we strengthen our economy & our communities for everyone.

There is no “Liberal version of feminism.” There is just feminism: the belief that all Canadians deserve an equal chance at success, regardless of gender. Our government is proud of its work to advance gender equality & to share these values & priorities with Canadians.

Pleased to see and receive Royal Assent. These Bills represent historic law reform built on evidence-based policy for the legalization and strict regulation of cannabis and necessary changes to impaired driving laws to make our roads safer and save lives.
