    Worry about allowing competition that continues to do capital investment, needing workers. Once they start to compete for the qualified work force you will start to see wage increase.

    Whoever said automation or technology is bad? It just changes things. My suggestion is that every job has value or it wouldn’t be a job, so maybe we should pay everyone a living wage.

    You forget you can only be payed a percentage of what you produce. For this your job needs capital investment, making what you do faster and better. Take away your tools and see if you can be better than your competition. If the profit is not there companies start to fire people.

    Well, then if we divested in your thinking, let's think what would happen to you if you stopped using your computer ( a lot of automation there), your dish washer, oh stop using your GPS. Should I continue..

    Increasing investment doesn’t equal good jobs or increasing wages. Generally its investment in automation and technology which, especially in manufacturing, generally lead to the opposite results
