    Can the GOP convince people to care more about themselves than the less fortunate AND care more about themselves than their future selves and their kids?

    I doubt it will change because: (i) the GOP and Trump aren't trusted on these issues; (ii) public opinion has a status quo bias & dislikes disruptions to the system; (iii) the public is basically right—this *isn't* the bill you'd design to help the middle class.

    I just spent 2 hr 45min on the phone with , incl. 2hr 20min on hold b/f they picked up, just to be told they can't replace a broken item they sent b/c the warehouse where it is available isn't local to my area. But, they'll send a discount code! 🤔

    It sounds like there is no good solution, so I thank Shelly for the discount code. But while saying goodbye and trying to screen shot the call I accidentally hang up on her. So after almost 2hr 45min on the call, now I'm the jerk! 😬
