Turkey: Refugee children build their own virtual reality city

Millions of children from Iraq and Syria have had to flee their hometowns and cities, but a few are now recreating a virtual version of them from their dreams and memories. The Future Aleppo project, inspired by 16-year-old Mohammed from Syria, is hosting workshops in which refugee children create a city out of paper, then turn it into a virtual reality experience.

Inspired by Mohammed Kteish, the ongoing Future Aleppo project is supported by UNHCR. For more information or to download the mobile VR app created at the workshop; please visit www.futurealeppo.com.
