Burundi - Severe underfunding hinders provision of aid for Burundian refugees
More than 400,000 Burundian refugees who fled fleeing insecurity and hardship need urgent assistance. UNHCR and its partners are working to provide aid and protect the refugees who are living in Tanzania, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Uganda and other nearby countries. But severe underfunding means Burundi's refugees are unable to live with the safety and dignity they need and deserve.
