Following the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2165, UNHCR established its cross-border activities from Southern Turkey in July 2014 through the deployment of Protection, Shelter/ Non-food item (NFI) and Camp Coordination and Camp Management Cluster Leads. All Clusters closely follow all humanitarian developments in the conflict areas in Northern Syria, and update the emergency preparedness plans accordingly.
Based on assessed needs, UNHCR and partners deliver NFI kits in Aleppo, Hama and Idleb governorates through cross border deliveries under resolution 2165/2191.
