    يوجد أكثر من 5.6 مليون سوري مسجل في مختلف أنحاء المنطقة، ومنهم 2.6 مليون طفل. وتبقى احتياجات العائلات السورية اللاجئة كبيرةً، علماً بأن الكثير منها غير قادرة على تغطية الاحتياجات الأساسية لأفرادها، كالرعاية الصحية والتعليم.

    الحدود مغلقة والأوضاع سيئة، والكثير من الأطفال خارج المدارس، والكثيرون بدون مأوى ويحتاجون إلى جميع أنواع الحماية، ولاتوجد أي حلول سياسية على الأرض. 5.5 مليون لاجىء سوري في المنطقة، هذا هو الوضع الآن.
