    The thousands of children who’ve spent days and weeks separated from their families still woke up this morning without their parents. This Administration must take immediate action to reunite them.

    President Trump has created total chaos. The administration has admitted it has no plans to reunite the more than 2,300 children taken from their parents. These families were torn apart without any idea how they would be put back together.

    Mr. President, you created a harmful, hateful policy. You spent weeks lying to us about it while kids suffered. You tried to use those kids as political pawns. You finally admitted you could have stopped it all along. And thousands of kids are still separated from their parents.

    An HHS official tells that there will NOT be special efforts made to reunite children who have already been separated from their families bc of the Zero Tolerance Policy, despite Trumps EO. Process will proceed for minors currently in the unaccompanied children program.

    You might not know this about me, but I'm a white guy. And as a white guy, I would encourage & his fellow GOP white guys to consult a not-white-guy in their efforts to enact comprehensive immigration reform in less than 24 hours.

    The President of the United States is a monster. Decent loving Republicans must now stand up. America can not be a country that approves of traumatizing children. Americans did not spill their blood in WW2 to defeat fascism only to allow it to take root now. Let humanity prevail.

    We are discovering that most of our clients have had their children shipped away across many states (1,000 miles is not unusual). Some are facing deportation without their children and do not know if they will ever see them again. This is permanently destroying families.

    Arrived in Tornillo TX where first tent city for kids has gone up. Was refused entrance by HHS. Given amount of misinformation and conflicting info coming from Trump Admin, it’s critical that Congress and American public know exactly how these children are treated by our system.

    I’m an original co-sponsor of this bill and we are now up to 43 senators. We need republican co-sponsors to get to 60. This must stop.

    UPDATE: 43 senators now support our bill to bar children from being taken from their parents at the border. We still need a Republican senator to join. If you’re represented by a Republican senator, please ask them to cosponsor S.3036.
