Babies and children are being torn from their mothers’ arms and breasts and ONE WOMAN is invited to the Administration’s meeting to discuss it? It’s no longer a luxury for women to run for office in America - it’s a moral imperative.

This is no longer only about family separation. It's about family incarceration. Zoom out further: it's about making asylum criminal. One other thing I've been meaning to say: Compassion is strength. Cruelty is weakness.

Violence and injustice towards children, whether directly or indirectly, leads to deep suffering and if alone and without lots of care/love can easily lead to rage and rage to deep anger and hatred, which in turn breeds radicalism like terrorism. We are creating this!!

Nazis referred to Jews as “rats”; Some Hutus referred to Tutsis as “cockroaches” in Rwanda. Trump says immigrants will “infest” America and “breed” crime. The language isn’t accidental. He wants you to think of these desperate people as sub-human.

We’re a country founded by refugees and immigrants. From the beginning, America has been a refuge for all manner of people seeking a safe place for their families to build a life. should remind us of the countless contributions refugees have made to the U.S.

Ending family separation would be a welcome&humane step, but the solution cannot be the immoral&unlawful detention of children. Indefinitely imprisoning children&families is still inhumane&ineffective law enforcement.

Withdrawing the U.S. from the UN Human Right Council will only embolden the worst abusers and further isolate our country. The Trump administration continues to cede American leadership in the world to any and all.

If the "White man" has the right to kick a non-white immigrant, who has lived here for 30 yrs, out of this country, just because the White man has been here for 400 yrs, then shouldn't the Native Americans be able to kick the "White Man" out, since they've been here 15,000 years?

The administration’s current family separation policy is an affront to the decency of the American people, and contrary to principles and values upon which our nation was founded. The administration has the power to rescind this policy. It should do so now.

Cages. The government is tearing young children away from their parents, putting them in cages, sending them to tent cities. This is beyond horrific. Please, make your outrage known today.

UPDATE: The entire Democratic caucus supports our bill to bar children from being taken from their parents at the border. I’ve heard countless Republicans say that they oppose children being taken from their parents. If that’s true, they should support our bill NOW!

A breastfeeding mother at a detention center had her daughter ripped away. Border agents tell parents they’re taking their children for a bath – but they don’t come back. There’s a humanitarian crisis at our border, and we have to fight it.
