    Between June 13 -19, France reported 5 artillery missions in Syria's Euphrates River Valley. Over the past week, 22 air sorties were conducted in support of local forces on the ground, but no strikes occurred.

    Libya is now a core part of our civilian harm monitoring and advocacy work here at Airwars. We'll be working hard in the months ahead to hold all belligerents better to account for their actions in Libya - and advocating on behalf of affected civilians

    Sadly our chief Libyan researcher was banned from visiting Washington DC for our June 20th launch to present on his findings, as a result of the Trump travel ban. Osama's visa rejection by the US Embassy in London explicitly cited Presidential Proclamation 9645

    Our Libya Conflict Data page features key graphics and mapping of airstrikes and civilian harm in Libya - and you can also download the data. Here you can see that local belligerents, in particular the LNA, are likely responsible for most civilian harm

    Our new site has detailed assessments of more than 80 alleged civilian harm incidents from airstrikes in Libya since 2012 - and 67 more incidents of concern. All known sources are permanently archived, and the assessments are now fully searchable
