    Today marks 1 years since the tragedy of Grenfell .Our thoughts & prayers are with the victims who died & the family they left behind. Our thoughts are with the community & all those that came together. We will never forget you O people of Grenfell 💚

    The housing crisis the government’s stance and their course of direction is really hurting the community at large. Facilitation for the very wealthy whilst social cleansing takes place under the pretence of regeneration.

    For too long governments have allowed housing to become a plaything for property speculators and the super-rich. Labour will fix the housing crisis by building a million new homes. The majority will be for social rent and genuinely affordable.

    Today I attended inaugural London Fuel Poverty Partnership. I also met with , and separately the London Electric Vehicle Company who build the new electric black cabs. Finally, I met with Bunhill tenants whom closely monitor build of new council homes on Kings Sq.

    With 2 days to go for elections,the team have been out on the streets talking to residents about their concerns. It is gratifying to hear so many people say they will be voting Labour in Newham. The Tory message seems to be falling flat here.

    May just admitted that she knew about targets for removals. Last Weds Rudd said "we don't have targets for removals...that's not how we operate". So then that wasn't true yet continued to express "full confidence" in Rudd for days. May condoned misleading parliament.
