    I remember when he said gay people shouldn’t be able to adopt kids because “children aren’t puppies.” It was 2010. And when he refused to retract his 1992 statement that HIV+ people should be quarantined. It was 2007. When, exactly, was Huckabee was a “source of civility”?

    I remember when the man who sent out this tweet below was a source of civility and genuine good humor in politics, and had an appealing human touch. I miss that man. Perhaps the country does, too.
