We must celebrate each victory, no matter how small. People tell me constantly they feel helpless. I hope they will find inspiration and hope from this. Every voice, every action, everything matters. Even if only to tell Yemenis we love them, adore them and value them.

The humanitarian catastrophe being caused by the attack on is massive. It will only get worse. It is shameful that the UK supports this attack, with bombs, planes, training, expertise & diplomatic support.

This report on the barriers to trade and humanitarian delivery is superb. Most comprehensive overview I've seen to date and crucially holds *everyone* to account for their role.

More than 22 million Yemenis – that’s three-quarters of the population – need humanitarian assistance and protection. More than 11 million of them are children. The conflict has made a living hell for its children.

Utterly agog at . Not at the news, we all knew that, but at the feigned shock, unease and demands for reassurance from MPs over it. You know, that thing they just totally voted for. This is what brexit is guys, own it.

In all my 25 years of looking at international prison images and photos, past and present, I never thought the day would come when I saw an image of children's shoes.I'll now celebrate my children's messy shoes because this picture really is hell on earth.

Encapsulates the selfishness of the Brexit vote. “I want some vague ideal of sovereignty, to ‘take back control’, and I’m prepared for thousands of people to lose their jobs to pay for it.”

“The best kind of people are the ones that come into your life and make you see the sun where you once saw clouds. The people that believe in you so much, you start to believe in you too. The people that love you, simply for being you. The once in a lifetime kind of people.”

UK military personnel are responsible for maintaining the weapons used by Saudi warplanes in Yemen. This is a British war and the attack on Hodeidah is a British attack. Most of the ‘mainstream’ media seems incapable of recognising this simple fact.
