    UNHCR is pleased to donate emergency tents to to support the inter-agency response for . To prepare for the monsoon, UNHCR has prepositioned over 10,000 tents which can assist 60,000 refugees & post-disaster response kits for 190,000 families.

    EU raises renewable energy targets to a binding 32% by 2030. UK calls for 30%; no clarity how this can be achieved after . Currently ~17% of EU energy derived from renewables, UK is ~9%. A long way to go & policies to achieve targets are uncertain.

    I just watched a woman stop two women wearing hijabs in the frozen aisle and say "Excuse me, ya have a holiday, right? I don't know how to say it, but I wanted to say happy holidays!" Then the women taught her how to pronounce Eid. It's over, my day is made, the Bronx is great.
