    About () crisis. Very disturbing news coming from Bamenda, as ELIE SMITH is reporting. Fow the Western followers, Bamenda is the capital of NW region, has a population of more that 250.000, and is 350 km from 's capital Yaounde.

    Bamenda is reportedly shutdown before official curfew after armed groups allegedly asked citizens to close down their activities or go home bc of planned showdown with security forces tonight. A resident I contacted confirmed the info & also told me he could hear gunshots.

    Present situation in () can be described as military occupation by Biya regime troops commiting atrocities (estimated 1000 civilians killed, 80 villages burnt, +150.000 IDPs, +20,000 refugees in Nigeria) and the crisis/conflict escalating day by day.

    () crisis. Statement/appeal by EU to the gov't of Cameroon to allow access of UNHRC in Ambazonia as well as humanitarian actors to assist population. I say it's not enough EU, only concrete political/economic pressure to Biya will make a difference.

    About . Answering to some followers, i must say that some of my best migrant friends in Athens are from Cameroon. Some are Anglophone, some are Francophone. I'm friendly to both communities and i'm proud of it. What i'm unfriendly of is the brutal Biya regime.

    Cameroons French law is 'a suspect is a criminal'. You are guilty until proven not guilty (which never happens in Cameroon). Our common law is 'a suspect is not a criminal.' Every accused person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

    1/2 () crisis. I can confirm that internet is still ON in Ambazonia at the moment. But everything seems to indicate that Biya gov't plans to shut it down in order to silence opposition and to cut the world out of information. Biya has done it before.
