Important to recognise that the British never used the term "Rohingya" to describe the "Chittagonians" who supported them during World War II. "Rohingya" not a term ever used or even known to the British. Beware anachronisms. See also CFs!

Listened to the whole tedious thing about Buddhist nationalists, it’s role in society & of course aggression to ‘Rohingyas’ & ethnic groups. No mention of aggression the other way! If only he & Oxford dissected British society in the same way, what conclusions can we make????

Be prepared Canadians, Dr Matthew Walton of Oxford is moving to Toronto University! Podcast was cringe worthy to say the least! Apparently, his studies are based on decades of work with various ethnic women assoc., like Kayin, Shan, Kachin etc...!

Praying because a goal is scored is ridiculous - does God care about millionaires playing Baseball, Football, and so forth? All the problems in this world ... and the irony is after he prayed the goal was disallowed - but he didn’t re-pray and say thanks ...

Journalism means squat in the United Kingdom for the majority of the working classes - just elites and fake news in both directions who all go to the same parties - I wonder what percentage of the working class buy The Guardian, The Times, and Daily Telegraph?

Look at most developed countries to see hate narratives in full force. Hollywood stars calling for taking hostage and abuse of children. Protests against world leaders with hate filled placards. Are developing countries to look up to western morals and free speech? Hypocrites

Poor reporting based on dubious data, double standards from commentators and fabricated lies will do no good to bring about a resolution in this and other issues MM has. Stop with the hate and start looking for peace.
