    This is a good start. But there’s still more to do. Australia should act as a facilitator of a more enduring regional solution - akin to how Australia collaboratively addressed the Cambodia situation in 1992/93 and East Timor in Sep 1999

    Isn’t it strange that the Australian media fully covers the news of US seperating kids from their families, but they’ve been censoring the same thing done by their own government for five years? Lets not forget that Australia has been shamelessly caging innocent children too.

    Wait, we never think about this long enough. and how do you register children of victims of sexual violence?

    children have been less visible in the rape discourse especially in wars and conflicts. On a practical level, the births of children resulting from rape are often not registered – like in DRC , for example, a child cannot be registered without the father’s name.
