    I worried this might be the case. Spain’s gesture of humanity & responsibility should spur Italy and Malta to do the right thing

    I’m told that supplies and weather conditions may make Spain’s offer to receive in Valencia impossible. Crews are working out their options now. Only a day’s supplies left on vessel for 629 people. Valencia is well over a day’s sail.

    About 500 Bangladeshi workers in left homeless after fire broke out burning down their "accommodation". No much seems to have changed since the racist incident in 2012 which left 38 workers heavily injured.
