On
#WorldRefugeeDay, take a look at life in Australia's detention camps on#Nauru and#Manus Island through the eyes of asylum seekers and whistleblowers.@ChasingAsylum: http://bit.ly/2vG5LKn pic.twitter.com/hibu1NARBY#WorldRefugeeDay - Chasing Asylum -
I strongly believe the reason that the rest of refugees haven't been killed yet is bcz the govt is scared of those amazing protesters.

How many more names you want to add in this list? No more deaths in concentration camps. Our lives matter..

I would like all human beings in Australia to stand up strongly against this cruelty before they kill everyone.

Great news out of
#Manus "Today, Thursday, 18 Pakistani, Rohingyan & Afghan refugees from West compound were accepted and no rejections for settlement in the US. 23 people have received appointment slips for tomorrow for US settlement decisions via Skype." @ManusAlert -

Some media are saying they have covered the news of death on Nauru today. It’s not acceptable, you should go deeper analysing what makes refugees take their own lives? Two deaths in few weeks is enough to put pressure on the government to give answer.

This is a poem that I wrote when I was still in Delta prison.A poem about love and loneliness. My intention was to share my emotions as a human with others who see us merely as a ‘refugee’. We’ve been denied the right to love and to be loved back.

I am
#WithRefugees . And I remain opposed to the continued cruelty of#Manus and#Nauru.@TurnbullMalcolm@billshortenmp Shame. -
Australia needs to reach a collective and national understanding that under no circumstances can one ever justify the violation of human rights – no excuses are acceptable. Here is my most recent writing.

Those people who came for protection. Australian government have put them in detention since five years and since then ppl have been dying.

Just look at the violent language Dutton uses in regards to bringing the refugees from
#Manus and#Nauru here - "It's not time to take our foot off the throat of this threat." (I think he means his own jackboot.)#BringThemHere or#LetThemGo pic.twitter.com/MBpdOwe71c -
Where did US President
#Trump get his horrific idea of imprisoning#ChildrenInCages? The Australian Government has had mandatory indefinite offshore detention of#refugees (including children) in prisons on#Manus and#Nauru for years.#uspoli#auspol#ICE#HumanRightsAbuses -
My 89yo Mum lives in Dickson. She is appalled at the tax package passing the Senate yesterday with big tax cuts for the rich, &
#manus#nauru, & failure of the LNP to act on#climatechange. She thinks Dutton is a fascist monster. Hard to disagree with my Mum.#auspolacts#auspol -
Excellent speech by Senator Nick Mckim. Yes, Donal Trump learnt from Australia to separate families and cage children, but their civil society is already forcing him to withdraw from that. Why the Australian government has been able to continue this for five years now?
