    Government of Nigeria, ECOWAS join hands with UNHCR to commemorate World Refugee Day. The closest to the international Refugee Convention has been crafted by Africa: the Kampala Convention. In Nigeria it is inevitable to see IDPS & refugees as two sides of the same human drama

    As we celebrate World Refugee Day, we note that Internally displaced persons don't have a similar global protection convention. UNHCR Nigeria can't celebrate the resilience & reflect on the plight of 22,000 refugees without associating the more than 1.7 million IDPS in NE Nigeria
