    220 people drowned off in recent days while attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea to Europe. I'm outraged. Time for leaders to agree on a common policy on Sunday. Chances are slim though.

    Under the new law, anyone could be jailed for working for or with NGOs involved in helping/campaigning for asylum seekers. Anyone attempting to enter from a 3rd country (not directly threatened with persecution) cannot claim protection.

    Did you know that was internationally regarded a mental illness up until today 28 years ago? Only in 1990 the declassified it as a mental disorder. And even today many a time people are embraced for who they love, not for who they are.
