Today, Dubai is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. Last year we welcomed 16 million visitors & look forward to receiving 20 million in 2020 when we host the Expo. Our goal is to preserve these gains & consolidate our position as a competitive global destination

This decree will expand the series of measures announced days earlier and aimed at supporting companies operating in Dubai, reducing the cost of doing business and attracting new investments

In line with the directives of @HHShkMohd we are announcing a 3% reduction of fees on the sale value for hotel facilities and restaurants in Dubai to enhance its position as a preferred destination for both investment and tourism

بتوجيهات محمد بن راشد الهادفة لتعزيز جاذبية دبي كوجهة مفضلة للاستثمارات ووجهة سياحية عالمية، أصدرنا قراراً اليوم بتخفيض رسم مبيعات المنشآت الفندقية بنسبة 3% ليصبح 7% بدلاً من 10% بهدف تعزيز تنافسية دبي السياحية وتشجيع الاستثمارات

Finally, we ordered an immediate freeze on the tuition fees of all private schools in Dubai for the coming academic year (2018-2019), in order to reduce the financial burden on parents.

We also approved waiving the 4% fee for a delay in property registration imposed by the Dubai Land Department. The real estate sector is an important component of Dubai's economy and we are working to provide the best government services to both investors and developers.

In order to develop Dubai's aviation sector, we are cancelling 19 fees related to the aviation industry and to aircraft landing permits ... Dubai is a global hub for the industry and our hard-won position in this sector needs to be strengthened.

Firstly, we agreed to lower market fees imposed by Dubai Municipality on commercial entities from 5% to 2.5%, in order to preserve Dubai's distinctive investment environment on a regional and global level.
