    On violence in settlement: "It is telling that a minor incident should trigger a tragedy of such magnitude; creating an extremely volatile situation for refugees who are mostly women and children without the protection of their menfolk." UNHCR Representative in Uganda

    We are strongly condemning acts of violence that led to the deaths of four refugees in Rhino Camp (Uganda) this week, and commending Government for swift action to contain the situation. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
