    Check where refugees come from ⤵️ Add that 4 out 5 will always remain in the next-door country to their own. The refugee crises are NOT in the Western & rich world. Time for us to stand with all these communities that every day stand - not here, there...

    Check out Amnesty's page on the Sponsor Surge. Refugee sponsors desperately needed to sponsor refugees. Each refugee who is sponsored frees another space for another refugee. Govt shares the costs. Contact bvor@rstp.ca to find out how.

    68.5 million people displaced at the end of 2017. 25.4 million are = 2.9 million more than in 2016 = biggest increase witnessed in a single year. 1 in every 110 persons on earth is displaced. 85% find asylum in poor countries.

    I have just started my third refugee sponsorship- first two families are now here, safe, doing well. This is a great thing to be a part of- sponsorship makes a real, concrete difference in people's lives and has been one of the most rewarding, enriching experiences I've ever had.

    Don’t turn a blind eye on crises in sub -Saharan Africa. There are 5 Congolese families who desperately need your sponsorship. Please help them find a safe home in Canada. Contact bvor@rstp.ca. Share the costs and save a life !
