    I really liked this discussion & engagement. Seemed classic Junot. Awareness of pervasiveness of sexism (down to the knitty gritty identity personhood level) & need to never give up the fight against it. I'm seeing his age (humanity) these days in a good way too.

    Discretion may be the better part of valor here, as the facts coming out, including the audio from the Machado Q&A () are leading those doing due diligence (Pulitzer, MIT, Bos Rev) to rethink the swift and totalizing dismissal of Junot Diaz. Just a thought.

    I don't know Peterson's work. But culture as inherently conservative w/ an implicit dominance hierarchy. That is interesting. It would explain why progressives who unleash culture find something different.
