And some of them suck at math, do not have degrees nor Elon Musk-like ambitions, and deserve to be sheltered and welcomed all the same. We should not justify basic human rights with stories about "potential". Their being human beings is enough.

The whole of the US white and black populus were refugees at some point, it is what the whole country was founded and build upon. Now it is the sons and daughters of said refugees refusing the same for others.

Resources should go to citizens and legal immigrants before refugees and illegal immigrants we need to help our own first

So so unfortunate.
#GodForUsAll. 'Refugees don’t just escape a place. They have to escape a thousand awful memories until they have put enough time & distance between them & their misery to wake to a better day.'#NadiaHashimi!Thanks. Twitter will use this info to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Yet they are surrounded by other countries without the problems their country has, yet only go to the countries that give them benefits at the expense of the citizens.

Difference in Einstein was European and legal. Steve jobs father was legal as well no one has a problem with legal migrant we have problem with illegal ones. We are all humans but are countries don’t share the same views of laws that’s our problem that you liberals don’t get.

This is well intentioned. But it is a shame that there needs to be additional talk of previous notable refugees and 'potential'. refugees are human and have rights. that should be the end of it, this message should not need to be sold.
-
I came here to say that, thank you. No one should be made to feel they have to live up to a genius or a billionaire to be treated as human.

Refugees aside, neither Einstein nor Steve Jobs’ father were refugees.

We should all gladly welcome refugees even if they’re not a genius in math or the most athletic person ever. We should take in refugees no matter what, every refugee seeking hope deserves the chance to be given hope! We should all give love and hope to people who have worked—
-
Hard to get to where they are now. Like I said earlier, everyone deserves a chance and should be given it no matter the knowledge or athleticism or financial situation.

Einstein was a migrant. He came to the USA in 1932 to take a job at Princeton. He became a USA citizen. You can’t compare refugees to migrants in the 1900’s. We have radical Muslims who want to kill us. We have ms-13 gang members who take over neighborhoods.
-
You do know that you are statistically more likely to commit an act of terror or a crime than a migrant. Let's say a Caucasian commits violence in Mexico. Is it reasonable for them to stop families fleeing war to enter the border because of something they have no choice in.
-
And Einstien was better at his job, therefore he replaced somebody. It is the Capitalist way. I f Migrants can do a job better, why not employ them? Are you against free enterprise?
