Bangladesh: Evolution of a Rohingya refugee settlement, 6 months on
Six months have passed since extreme violence forced Rohingya men, women and children to flee their homes in Myanmar and make an exhausting and perilous crossing into Bangladesh. In an audio slideshow, Richard Evans, former UNHCR senior shelter officer and part of the team which toiled to improve conditions in the rapidly growing refugee settlements, describes the evolution of the landscape and area over the past few months.
