    In spite of fewer arrivals, we continue to help refugees like Selam, who found a third shift factory job earning $10/hr upon arrival. We recently helped prepare her for an interview at , where she was offered a job earning $16/hr plus benefits!

    must-read: The steepest decline has been in the number of Muslims who have been resettled. In fiscal 2016, 38,900 Muslim refugees came to the United States..The following year, that number fell to 22,861. This fiscal year, just 2,107 have arrived.

    The Adm is not on track to meet its goals for 2018 refugees. It should be about 20,000 down from more that 100,000 in the last year of the Obama Adm. As a result, 1 of the city’s 6 local resettlement programs closed.
