    Plus in the sub continent the alternative practices like work from home is still a far cry. It will be an uphill task to increase women’s workforce participation till we implement series of affirmative practices in the companies, public sector and other organisations

    The conducive environment for women to go out and work does not exist in India. Public and workplace safety issues and burden of care work are two main reasons why more and more middle class women opt out of work eventually 1

    The unrealised contribution of women is one reason India remains so poor

    This is real idiotic. Why should the GOI compensate citizens of another country? Will GOI compensate a Hindu victim in Bali or a Buddhist victim in Thailand. These are Afghans, not Indians. We need to stop this foolishness. This is making Indian foreign policy a laughing stock.

    I am confident NDA will give compensation to Sikhs killed in recent bombing in Afghanistan, arrange for their repatriation and implement rehabilitation package. SAD delegation had raised this issue with ji earlier./2
