Education: Film Screening and Panel
June 20, 2018 | 5:30 – 8:30 PM | St Francis Xavier (4715 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012)
Learn more about the Refugee Journey and the families living in our community. Join us for a screening of “This is Home” followed by a panel of refugees who have made Phoenix their home along with representatives of different refugee support organizations.

Gathering Humanity
Date: June 20, 2018
Time: 10:30 AM-12 PM
Location: 510 S 52nd St #107, Tempe, Arizona
Gathering Humanity helps Resettlement Agencies equip arriving families with needed household items donated by generous community members. Be a part of the refugee journey by sorting donations, assembling kits or other needed activities at the warehouse.

The Welcome to America Project:
Dates/Times: June 20, 2018 @ 8 AM and June 23 @ 7:30 AM
Location: 1711 W University Dr #158 Tempe, Arizona
The Welcome to America Project follows up with families after arrival to see what they need to make their house feel like home. Donations are collected and sorted during the week and then delivered by teams from the community each weekend. While the items are valuable, the “welcome” is what’s remembered!

Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD)
Date: June 23, 2018
Time: 10 AM-12 PM
Location: 33 Comstock Dr #1 Chandler, Arizona
HHRD works globally with special focus in countries where the majority of the population is living below the poverty line. The Phoenix office helps pack large containers with resources needed to support refugees living in camps around the world. Join a group of interfaith leaders to pack humanitarian essentials for Rohingya refugees and learn more about this specific crisis.
