    While I'm pleased that the new chief is not the US-nominee, I can't help thinking that - with all due respect - 3 European men (UNSG, IOM DG & UNHCR High Comm) don't really reflect my world. Oh for some diversity in the refugee/migration space.

    If we spent 1/10th of the agony, angst and attention on & at sea in the Med towards legal pathways in Europe & other sites such as Libya we might actually find some solutions. *sigh - a little less conversation, a little more action*
