I strongly believe the reason that the rest of refugees haven't been killed yet is bcz the govt is scared of those amazing protesters.

How many more names you want to add in this list? No more deaths in concentration camps. Our lives matter.. Your shame.

I would like all human beings in Australia to stand up strongly against this cruelty before they kill everyone.

Great news out of "Today, Thursday, 18 Pakistani, Rohingyan & Afghan refugees from West compound were accepted and no rejections for settlement in the US. 23 people have received appointment slips for tomorrow for US settlement decisions via Skype." @ManusAlert

The bitter truth is Australians are clever for commenting or posting good words are participating for vigils but no one is ready to stand against Dutton and his regime. If all Australians stand together against Dutton, NO would die here anymore.

Wish there was an intense public campaign for children detain in Nauru and for refugees of Manus in Australia.

  10. Some media are saying they have covered the news of death on Nauru today. It’s not acceptable, you should go deeper analysing what makes refugees take their own lives? Two deaths in few weeks is enough to put pressure on the government to give answer.

  11. Australia needs to reach a collective and national understanding that under no circumstances can one ever justify the violation of human rights – no excuses are acceptable. Here is my most recent writing.

Just look at the violent language Dutton uses in regards to bringing the refugees from and here - "It's not time to take our foot off the throat of this threat." (I think he means his own jackboot.) or

Those people who came for protection. Australian government have put them in detention since five years and since then ppl have been dying.

  15. This is a poem that I wrote when I was still in Delta prison.A poem about love and loneliness. My intention was to share my emotions as a human with others who see us merely as a ‘refugee’. We’ve been denied the right to love and to be loved back.

My 89yo Mum lives in Dickson. She is appalled at the tax package passing the Senate yesterday with big tax cuts for the rich, & , & failure of the LNP to act on . She thinks Dutton is a fascist monster. Hard to disagree with my Mum.

Australians have been shocked in recent days to see the US lock up traumatised children in cages, separated from their parents. It’s time to realise we do even worse.

  18. Excellent speech by Senator Nick Mckim. Yes, Donal Trump learnt from Australia to separate families and cage children, but their civil society is already forcing him to withdraw from that. Why the Australian government has been able to continue this for five years now?

Where did US President get his horrific idea of imprisoning ? The Australian Government has had mandatory indefinite offshore detention of (including children) in prisons on and for years.

323rd day of peaceful protest from . It seemed there’s no value to human beings any more in this planet we’re living in . The US govt have adopted the Aust govt immigration policy to dehumanizing vulnerable people. SOS

  21. Why the media is silent about the death of people on Manus and Nauru? Isn’t this a systematic censorship? The media is as responsible as the government in manipulating the public and misinforming them about our situation here.
