Uganda: Transforming the lives of refugee women
Uganda has begun a massive biometric data verification exercise to help fix any discrepancies in refugee data and allow for greater efficiency and transparency. With support from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and partners, the government is conducting biometric data verification of all refugees. The process will assist the government to better assess refugee data in the country, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency to get refugees the support they need.
