The Health Working Group supports a coordination approach to the delivery of health and nutrition services that aim to prevent excess morbidity and mortality among refugees through provision of clinical care, preventive and promotive activities. The Group is also responsible for improving the food security and nutrition situation of refugees, and to reduce the prevalence of undernutrition among refugees, especially women, young children and vulnerable groups including young people, the elderly and people with special needs.
