Thousands flee into Kenya to escape Ethiopia violence

An estimated 9,600 Ethiopian asylum seekers fled into Moyale in northern Kenya following internal violence.

The asylum seekers settled in Somare and Sololo where they are undergoing registration to establish the actual number and also facilitate access to humanitarian assistance.
