Working Group Description

The Cash Task Force, established in August 2018, offers a technical platform for coordination, collaboration, harmonization for appropriate and efficient cash based initiatives and sharing and dissemination of learning related to multiple sector cash based interventions in emergency preparedness and response activities within the Ethiopia refugee operation. It is intended to be a mechanism for targeted information sharing & analysis and planning for actions related to the use of different modalities of cash and voucher-based programming. The coordination group provides a platform for discussion, establishing standards and recommendations on cash based interventions for the refugees in Ethiopia and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
