UK: 'School of Sanctuary' opens its doors to refugee children
The community surrounding Widden Primary School in Gloucester, England, has thrown open its doors in a wider welcome to refugee children and their families. The school is one of many which have joined in the "Cities of Sanctuary" movement, which helps to integrate those who flee danger abroad into life in England. Across a decade, more than 90 cities and towns have taken part. Widden is showing how one school can shine as a beacon of diversity.
