When Laura, 19, was a child, her family was displaced by armed conflict in Colombia. Her family sought safety in Quibdó, the regional capital of Chocó, Colombia. Today, Laura is football-mad and she volunteers as a coach in the “Vení Jugá” programme, which aims to protect children and young adults from urban violence through sport.
