UN Refugee Chief Urges Support for DR Congo Refugees
UN Refugee Chief Filippo Grandi is urging the world not to forget about the plight of more than three quarters of a million refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo spread across the region. On a visit to Rwanda and Burundi the the High Commissioner met with refugees and praised the countries for their continued hospitality. He called for renewed global efforts to find, and support, long-term solutions for those who are displaced.
