A new law (No. 16,685) was approved this Wednesday (21) by the government of the State of São Paulo, instituting the exemption of the payment of the fee charged for the revalidation of undergraduate, postgraduate, master’s and doctorate degrees at public universities in São Paulo for refugees who live in the state.

The decision will facilitate the process of integrating refugees in Brazil, allowing refugees the access to job opportunities according to their respective formations, as well as enabling the continuation of their studies.
