On World Refugee Day U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, met refugees in Niamey, Niger.
During his visit to the West Africa country, Grandi met Eritrean and Somali refugees at the Guichet Unique - a centre where refugees take part in interviews with resettlement countries, which are providing new opportunities to people who have been forced to flee.
During the visit Grandi reminded the world of the powerful narrative of solidarity, respect and generosity towards refugees which continues to be celebrated by citizens around the world.
